Focus on Education

Since our very first year as a 501.c.3 Operating Foundation we have invested heavily in the education of today’s students as a means of bringing about a more hope-filled tomorrow. In addition to fostering student wellness with our Breathing Butterfly, we maintain a strong educational focus:

Educational Institutions

Grants made to date include: Stanford University, Harvard University, Northeastern University, Golden Gate University, Mills College, Saint Mary's College, and California State University at Monterey Bay, as well as The Carter Center's internship program. Our grants have led to endowed Elfenworks Centers, visiting scholars, internships and scholarships.

For example, at The Center on Poverty and Inequality at Stanford University, the Elfenworks Foundation Visiting Scholars program continues to attract leading scholars and practitioners to carry out research, teach classes and inform public debate on poverty and inequality.

We continue to follow the work these fine universities, and to celebrate the successes that were made possible with our assistance. Read in-depth detail on any of these investments by selecting from the PDFs below (listed in reverse alphabetical order):
