The Elfenworks Foundation
The Elfenworks Foundation is a 501.c.3 operating foundation that was established in 2007 with the goal of fostering a world that is In Harmony with Hope sm. We operate within a proven Seven Pillars framework, directing our efforts towards preservation, transformation, & innovation.

Preservation
Keeping Hope Alive
Involves support for targeted conservation efforts. For example, we have an Elfenworks Aviary at Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, we support the Monterey Bay Aquarium's efforts to save the endangered sea otter and we are supporting an ocean restoration project.

Education Related
Since inception, we have invested heavily in the education of today's students. Grants have included a number of universities beyond to those called out in the detail pages and support for The Carter Center's internship program. This has led to endowed Elfenworks Centers, visiting scholars, internships, and scholarships. We also help with personal tranformation, with tips on quitting smoking.

Looking Forward
Key in building a more hope-filled future, so we work to foster creative and technology solutions to some of our world's most pressing problems. We have: created resources that combat stress and help bolster nonprofit IT security; supported STEM education through robotics; and provided funding for basic research at UCSF's School of Medicine.
