The Elfenworks Foundation is proud to present the "Breathing Butterfly" app. Created in collaboration with the teams at Tip-Tok and Elfenworks Productions, LLC, the Breathing Butterfly is designed to help you relax and stress-down and tend to your inner butterfly garden.
The visualization at the heart of the app uses a butterfly metaphor; watch it open and close its wings in harmony with every breath you take. Soothing music combined with gentle animation promote calm, regular breathing as you cultivate inner peace. That's important, because even when we can't control life events, we can always influence our reaction, and stress-busting tools help us do just that.
Guided imagery is offered in 28 languages and 330 different animation combination choices to help you stress-down and tend to your inner butterfly garden. Six tranquil games provide the user endless options for peaceful fun. Grow a garden and spot a hummingbird. Visit a cherry-blossom snow-globe. Guide a butterfly to sip blossom nectar and reach a rainbow. Make music. And yes, catch a falling star! It's a timely app, offered to help you relax, breathe, and enjoy the moment.
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences used The Breathing Butterfly resources in a clinical setting with some remarkable results: Watching a short mindfulness video prior to a medical or dental appointment is shown to significantly lower BP, specifically SBP.

There are many different kinds of butterflies. They live in many different places, and they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. Each has two names, a common name and a scientific name. You might have heard some of the common names, like Swallowtails and Birdwings, Skippers, Mariposa and Emperors.
Some have funny names, and look really strange, like the Stinky Leaf Wing. Each one is suited to its environment, but they all need warmth to survive, just like people. Let's explore some of the many different kinds of butterflies.
